As I’m growing “more mature” (the alternative word for “older”)... I realize that I’m just not in the same frame of mind that I used to be.
The truth is, I no longer have the same desire, ambition and goals to “hustle harder”, keep up with everyone and all things new, and try to “prove myself” to people to convince them that I’m worthy.
What I’m learning is that when things begin to feel unnecessarily hard, complicated or I feel resistance towards it, that means it’s time to assess, analyze, dig deep to gain what’s the root of this all, and make the necessary shifts to eliminate what’s no longer working.
Here’s what I realized is simply no longer working for me, and how this can inspire you to make the necessary shifts needed to elevate your life to match the season you’re in.
For a long time, I tried to ease people into the idea that business could be ministry.
That selling could be sacred.
That building wealth could be holy.
And holding God to His word and His promises were justified!
I wanted to make everyone feel comfortable, including myself.
But here's the truth…..
I no longer feel the need to justify what God already approved.
The Bible says He gives us the power to get wealth. That means it’s not just allowed—it’s assigned. And I’m no longer diluting the message to make it more palatable for people’s acceptance or for justification.
The reality is, I love sales!!
I love building businesses!!
I love teaching others how to turn their God-given brilliance into income that provides real freedom in their lives and positions them to become Kingdom Funders.
I’ve spent too much time apologizing for my anointing in this area.
So I’m done easing it in.
I’m done with shrinking myself down.
I’m jumping all the way in….
Unapologetically!!
